10/06/2011 - We have tweaked our servers SPAM detection software
Tonight we did some tweaking to our webserver's MailScanner SPAM software. We changed the scores for which SPAM is detected. The previous settings detected High Scoring SPAM at 20. We modified this to 10. The Low Scoring SPAM setting was left unchanged and remains at 5. Low Scoring SPAM can sometimes be legit emails but where flagged as SPAM for unknown reasons. Usually this doesn't happen. We also made some changes to how this email is delivered. High Scoring SPAM has always been automatically deleted with no need for the end user to do anything. Low Scoring SPAM has always been sent to your email account or to your domains spam@domain.com email address if you set one up. This email was also identified with the words in the subject line. We changed this setting. Low Scoring SPAM will now be automatically deleted with nothing needed to be done by you just like with High Scoring SPAM. If for some reason you do not wish to have this done and would rather receive Low Scoring SPAM then you can log into your cPanel (Control Panel) and perform the steps outlined bellow.
1. Navigate to your http://www.domain.com/cpanl and log in
2. Under Mail select MailScanner Configuration
3. Select the drop down box next to Low Scoring Spam and change it to Deliver or forward to spam@domain.com.
4. If you selected forward to spam@domain.com you will also need to create an email address named "spam" to catch this email.

08/19/2011 - Labor Day Weekend Support for Sept. 2nd - 5th
DeadlyServers tries to support its client base with 100% can do attitude, and timely support responses. However, like our clients who need a break or have prior engagements, sometimes this occurs to us as well. For Labor Day weekend of September 2nd - 5th our staff will be on limited emergency availability. We will be monitoring servers remotely for issues to be able to fix them, and watching over support emails for HOT requests and needs. Responses may be delayed, or held till Tuesday the 6th. billing inquiries and requests will be held until Tuesday the 6th.
So please, help us help you - and get your support requests, billing inquiries and issues resolved before the 2nd of September so that you can get the fantastic support that you deserve.
01/29/2011 - DS Ventrilo Beta CP Launched
Deadly Servers has launched a new, and beta version of our personal control panel for our Ventrilo services. Our clients can now log into their billing account, and access a Ventrilo control panel through their services. accessing this control panel will give clients the ability to make changes to the server name, codec, passwords, buffer sizes, and much more.
